Dr. Haley is a Virginia State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, a New Mexico State Board Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Diplomat in Oriental Medicine certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is certified by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM) in clean needle technique.
Dr. Haley received her Master’s Degree in The Science of Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico graduating at the top of her class. As part of her clinical training, Dr. Haley practiced at an integrative medical setting at the Santa Fe Indian Hospital, where she specialized in arthritis, back pain, allergies, and diabetes. Dr. Haley’s other clinical expertise includes woman’s health from her time working at the Santa Fe Woman’s Center and the gynecology department of the Heilong Integrative University Hospital in Harbin, China. During her time in China, Dr. Haley also worked with the cancer and post-stroke patients, as well as other neurology patients.
Post-graduation, Dr. Haley started her own business and private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She worked extensively with patients suffering from psycho-emotional disorders, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Dr. Haley’s background as a Division 1, Varsity athlete contributed to her successful strategy working with student-athletes on sports-related psychologically, competitive performance, and nutritional aspects for their athletic training. Dr. Haley’s passion for athletics and physical fitness continued to serve her as she worked as the resident acupuncturist at the prominent El Gancho Racquet and Fitness Club in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She had success treating joint and back pain, tendonitis, and metabolic disorders aiding in weight-loss programs, prior to her working as the acupuncturist on Princess Cruise Lines for the last 5 years.
Her experience has given her the opportunity to treat patients all over the world and globally study health and wellness strategies. Dr. Haley feels extremely fortunate to be able to have changed the lives of her patients by relieving them of their health concerns within the short duration of just one cruise. Her method of treatment encouraged the body to jump-start its own natural healing processes for a better quality of life. Her patients’ conditions have ranged from pain conditions such as sciatic pain, back pain, joint injuries, and arthritis to terminal cancer pain, post-stroke paraplegia, weight-loss, digestive disorders, and facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Haley is thrilled to join the team here at the Chiropractic Family Health Centre while she is pursuing her specialty in sports medicine acupuncture and continuing her certification as a Natural Health Practitioner.

Dr. Curtis C. Margerum, D.C. was born in Mayville, ND. He grew up in Minnesota and was active in football, basketball, baseball and track in high school. He also participated in choir, band and drama. He went on to play baseball at both Moorhead State University and the University of North Dakota. From there he attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN graduating in 1990.
He has been in practice for the last 26 years in Alexandria, Virginia and loving every minute of it. He has helped countless number of patients through the years. He has skills in many chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Activator, Thompson Drop and Cox Flexion Distraction.
He recently joined the Palmercare Chiropractic group which serves Northern Virginia in eight different locations. He is constantly attending seminars and meetings to continue to better himself for the benefit of his patients. His main goal is to provide the chiropractic experience which is above and beyond the patients’ expectations.
Dr. Daniel Schaeffer was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Fairfax, VA where he was active in baseball, basketball, soccer, swimming & diving. He obtained his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from George Mason University. Dr. Schaeffer earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL where he was heavily involved with the rehabilitation department of their clinic.
Dr. Schaeffer’s decision to become a chiropractor was out of a passion to better serve his community. He holds a strong belief that movement is life and when movement stops, the body starts to break down not only in the spine, but also the body’s overall function will decline. Prior to attending Palmer College of Chiropractic he worked as a personal trainer in Mclean, VA for 8 years.
When Dr. Schaeffer is not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife that he met in high school, escaping to the beach, and continues to train and participate in competitive bodybuilding. In practice he utilizes multiple techniques to positively influence the overall health of his patients through chiropractic care as well as nutritional education and soft tissue mobilization/trigger point therapy. He loves treating individuals of all ages and conditions from headaches to digestive issues, allergies, muscle strains, childhood ear infections and of course neck and back pain. Given his background, he has a strong desire to work with athletes who want to function optimally both on and off the field. He is excited to be a part of the Palmercare family and cannot wait to serve and educate the community of Falls Church.

Ericka recently became a Diplomat of Acupuncture and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Virginia and Maryland.
Ericka became fascinated by acupuncture through her own personal healing journey. She was amazed at how a few tiny needles were able to take away her pounding headaches, and ultimately, give her back the quality of life she desired. After her profound experience with acupuncture, she knew she wanted to be an acupuncturist and be able to help others the same way she was. With excitement, she enrolled into school at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Wisconsin and graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.
Ericka believes that our bodies are innately self-healing and uses Traditional Chinese Medicine as a powerful tool to guide your body back to balance and allow your body to effectively heal and alleviate pain. She uses acupuncture and additional modalities including cupping, gua sha and e-stim to treat her patients’ symptoms and root conditions. She is passionate about acupuncture and encourages everyone to try it and experience the benefits of acupuncture for them self.

Matthew Stampe is both a LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) and LAc (Licensed Acupuncturist) with Virginia Department of Health’s Board of Nursing. He has been nationally certified under the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Bodywork (NCBTMB) since 2006. He has completed his National acupuncture certification with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in 2019. He is also licensed in acupuncture in both Maryland, and D.C. since 2019.
Matthew lifestyle has involved Chinese martial arts, Chinese diet therapy and herbs, acupuncture, tui-na (Chinese massage), and qigong since 1990. "I believe acupuncture works best with a series of treatments with dietary and lifestyle adjustments, and some basic knowledge of acupressure and qigong for the patient." Matt often says.
Matthew graduated from Qi Elements school of Massage and Tai Chi in Herndon Virginia in 2005. He has trained at professional Wushu Kung fu (in China and USA), MMA, Muay Thai (in Thailand and USA), and Boxing schools under professional fight coaches and with professional athletes and fighters. He did much of his body work at various MMA and martial arts schools helping athletes, coaches, and fighters for competition events.
To further his deep interest in Oriental medicine, Matthew devoted 4 years toward a degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine. He graduated with a MSA (Masters of Science in Acupuncture) in December 2018 from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine in Fairfax Virginia. Integrative medicine is both western medicine at the level of a registered nurse and Oriental medicine.
Matt has taught both public classes in Qigong and Taijiquan (Tai Chi) since 1994, and currently public and didactic classes at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine since 2014.
